WHAT DRIVES THE SOLELHADAN DIPLOMACY?

Our diplomacy is driven by the quest for happiness, not only for the Solelhadan people, but for all Vexillian peoples.
As a result, our diplomacy is mainly aimed at averting conflicts and wars amongst Vexillian nations; the Solelhadan Constitution forbids the use of war as a means to achieve one's ends, and the Solelhadan Armed Forces may only be used for self defence.

Alas, only few nations share this goal, most of them being driven by capitalistic greed or by an imperialistic urge to grab one's neighbour's territories.
This is why the Rep. Ensolelhada is not a member of the UNV, a body that is the lackey of the more imperialistic and aggressive nations. Only the ANNV has proven to be a reliable body of peace-loving countries.

Our refusal of realpolitik and our idealistic politics of freedom and justice for all have alienated us most Vexillian nations. This is why the Rep. Ensolelhada only has diplomatic ties with those nations that really have a firm commitment for peace and stability.
